In its ongoing commitment to enhancing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) initiatives, the Spanish Branch of Mitsubishi Electric Europe proudly continues its sponsorship of the Spanish Women's National Football Team through a partnership agreement with the RFEF (Real Federación Española de Fútbol: Royal Spanish Football Federation). This collaboration reflects Mitsubishi Electric's dedication to supporting women in sports and promoting equal opportunities, both on and off the field.

Building on the momentum of last year's unforgettable triumph at the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup, where the Spanish team captivated the world with their remarkable performance, they further solidified their place among the elite by winning the 2024 UEFA Women's National League. In a thrilling final, they secured their first UEFA Nations League title by defeating France with a 2-0 victory, a result that electrified fans and significantly boosted the profile and excitement of women's football across the globe.

The team also made a strong showing at the Olympic Games in Paris 2024, displaying incredible determination and skill throughout a series of intense matches. They fought fiercely to reach the semi-finals, navigating a challenging path through formidable opponents. Although they narrowly missed out on a medal after a hard-fought loss to Germany in the bronze medal match play-off, their outstanding efforts and spirited play made a significant contribution to the overall excitement of the Olympics, inspiring fans and young athletes worldwide.
