With our specialized CNC repair workshop, we ensure spare parts availability for over 40 years, helping machines stay in top condition for end customers.
Our service concept focuses on extending the lifespan of machines, turning them into a sustainable, long-term investment.
Fast and sustainable support
If a machine with our components is defective, the required spare parts and a service technician are usually on site the following morning. An exciting part of our service concept: the defective spare part can be sent back to us and the customer receives a credit note immediately. The repair process begins with thorough cleaning and repair of the returned spare part, which is then tested. After the repair, the part is stored again like a new part and is ready for the next use. A typical spare part, such as a drive, breaks down approximately every 8 years and is repaired on average 4 times, so it can remain in use for over 30 years. To further improve the longevity of our products, we keep track of how long they are used and how many repairs are carried out in order to continuously develop high-quality, long-lasting products.
This approach is an excellent example of Mitsubishi Electric's circular economy.
Nikolaos Katsiagonis, Apprentice Mechatronics Technician
The repair process:
The repair process begins when the defective product is sent to us by the customer. Once it arrives, the product is carefully disassembled to assess the necessary repairs. If needed, we use advanced techniques like 3D printing to reproduce housing parts, ensuring the highest quality standards. Finally, the product is reassembled, fully restored, and ready for its next use.
