Macmillan Cancer Support provides services for people living with cancer at every stage of their cancer experience.

The organisation is 98% funded by voluntary donations, so fundraising is essential to make sure they can deliver the vital support people living with cancer need. Donations from thousands of ‘Come for Coffee and Cake’ events, big and small, help raise vital funds to support the 3 million people in the UK living with cancer, from the moment they are diagnosed, throughout treatment and beyond.

On 25^th Sep. as part of the Happiness at Work Week, Mitsubishi Electric UK Branch has been proud to host a Charity Cake Bake & Connect in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Colleagues brought in cake, sweet and savoury to share for a donation as part of our Connect event. Those who cannot make it in person joined virtually to connect with colleagues. We matched all the funds that were collected for the event. We were able to contribute over £1,500 to support Macmillan Cancer Support.
