Team Mitsubishi Electric after the Race
The French Branch of Mitsubishi Electric Europe recently took part in a charity race organized by Special Olympics France, with support from the Rueil-Malmaison Town Hall. Since 1968, Special Olympics has been offering opportunities for children and adults with intellectual disabilities to train and compete in various Olympic sports, promoting physical well-being, courage, and joy in a truly inclusive environment.
The Start of the Race
Our team registered 15 groups under the Mitsubishi Electric banner, with 60 colleagues braving the rain to participate in either a relay race or a 2.5 km walk, all for a meaningful cause. Our involvement along with 27 other local companies, helped raise a record-breaking €98,400. These funds will provide individuals with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to experience the joy of sports, and further promote social inclusion.
By supporting this event, we demonstrated our commitment to community engagement and inclusivity, reflecting our core values of social responsibility. This initiative allowed us to contribute positively to the community and support the mission of Special Olympics France, reinforcing our dedication to making a meaningful impact beyond the workplace.
