Mitsubishi Electric is excited to renew its partnership with Special Olympics for the 'XXXV National Winter Games', which brought together 600 athletes with and without intellectual disabilities. Our team of employees actively participated to support and contribute to the success of these Games.

The 'XXXV Special Olympics Winter Games' took place from March 4^th to 8^th across four venues in Piedmont: Sestriere, Pragelato, Entracque (CN), and Borgo San Dalmazzo. Over five days, athletes from across Italy competed in six disciplines: alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, floorball, snowshoeing, and sports dance.

We at Mitsubishi Electric Europe were thrilled to be involved in this impactful event. A group of our employees, along with their families, attended the venues to support the athletes, assist with their needs, and cheer them on throughout their performances. Additionally, one of our colleagues served as the official commentator for the alpine skiing events.

Special Olympics events go beyond mere competitions; they are part of a global educational initiative active in over 200 countries. These events are designed to foster inclusion and respect by celebrating the achievements of individuals with intellectual disabilities, creating a world where everyone is valued and welcomed, regardless of their abilities.
