Mitsubishi Electric Hydronics & IT Cooling Systems SpA (MEHITS), in line with the values of the Mitsubishi Electric Group, favors and promotes cultural initiatives in the local communities, particularly those dedicated to the younger generation. This includes presentations and on-site training days for high school and technical institute students, including visits to our production plants, and many activities organized with local universities, from Open Days to training courses with our experts.

The latest initiative is the scholarship established in memory of our beloved colleague Margherita Novello.

The desire to establish an award dedicated to our colleague, an engineering graduate from the University of Padua, was born shortly after her premature passing in the summer of 2020. That is why the scholarship, with a total value of 10,000 Euros, is now reserved to 4 female students enrolled in the Bachelor's, Combined Bachelor and Master's degree programs pertaining to the School of Engineering, at the University of Padua. The study prizes, awarded through a special contest, have already been delivered to the four winners, who are finishing or have just finished their studies.

During our 2023 Christmas party, we took a moment to share with all MEHITS employees the importance of this award and to award the winners with a dedicated plaque.
