On 27th September, as part of the "Ratingen Days of Sustainability 2023," a guided tour jointly organized by the city of Ratingen and the Adult Education Center (Volkshochschulen: VHS) took place at the German Branch.

17 interested visitors as well as members of the Climate Council, the Ratingen.nachhaltig, an association for sustainable development in Ratingen and the City of Ratingen's climate protection management took part in the almost two-hour tour and gained exciting insights and information about the sustainability of the German Branch.

The focus of the guided tour through the product exhibition "The World of Mitsubishi Electric" was on solutions for sustainable construction and ecological landscaping.

Particularly interesting for the guests was the presentation of our heat pump technology - here many took the opportunity to ask the expert questions about the topic and installation options. Recently, heat pumps replace gas boilers and expected to enable more energy efficient heating in Europe, and getting become more topical than ever.

As a highlight, Andreas Wagner, President of the German Branch, accompanied the visitors to our “NaturRaum” (means "Natural Space" in German) behind the building, where we have put a lot of emphasis on the cultivation of native plants, thus offering bees and butterflies optimal living conditions.
